Sarakiniko beach is a surreal bit of landscape on the northern coast of Milos. Comprised of white volcanic rock in strange, swooping formations, it truly resembles the moon, earning it the nickname “ lunar beach.”
The frosty marquise of vintage glass reminds me so much of the Sarakiniko landscape. I paired it with a rose-cut Montana agate to represent the sparkling sun; a mottled, matte-finish, glow-in-the-dark amazonite to represent the sea; and a tiny rose-cut turquoise at the end of the chain for the color of the sky.
