I automatically insure all orders over $100 and additional signature confirmation is available by request.
For international purchases, there may be unexpected delays in your country's customs office. I will ship all pieces within my promised timeframe, but I cannot account for your country's individual handling of imports. Please plan accordingly or upgrade to expedited shipping.
Buyer is responsible for all costs related to your country's customs clearance, including any duties and taxes. I always accurately report the price of your purchase on international custom’s forms. It is illegal for me to do otherwise, so please do not request it.
In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the postal service can get especially chaotic. There are often cases of packages being marked “delivered” when in fact they are being held at your local post office. Because of this, I highly recommend that customers request signature confirmation for time-sensitive December orders.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
“Ready to ship” items ship in 1-3 business days.
“Ready to ship” items ship in 1-3 business days.
“Made to order” pieces can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks to ship depending on their complexity and the time of year. Each listing will have specific details.
If your order includes a piece that's ready today and one that's ready next month, by default I will only ship when both pieces are ready. Please contact me with any shipping concerns.
What are your return policies?
It is my #1 priority that you LOVE your piece of jewelry.
For that reason, I DO accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations with the following conditions:
- Buyer must contact me within 3 days of delivery.
- Item can show no signs of wear or negligent damage.
- If there is damage due to faulty craftsmanship, we will work together to solve it on a case by case basis. If it arrives defective, I request that the buyer send me a photo immediately.
- Buyer must ship return items back within 7 days of delivery. Buyer is responsible for return postage (unless we have mutually agreed that the return or exchange is based on my own error).
- I cannot accept returns for custom designed pieces or for stretched ear jewelry (for health/sterilization precautions). Returns from timed collection releases will incur a 25% restocking fee.
- For exchanges, buyer is responsible for shipping. I will send you a custom listing with the cost of return postage.
- Request for an order cancellation must occur within 1 hour of purchase. Some days I am able to process and ship orders immediately, so be sure to let me know quickly if you've changed your mind!
Do you resize rings?
Short answer: No!
Long answer: In some very special cases, I can open up the ring to a larger size, but never smaller. However, with the intricate construction of my double banded rings, I don’t recommend any resizing as it can structurally weaken the piece. In the rare event of a resizing, labor fees will apply.
If it is a ring from my Made to Order Petites section or BLACK-OUT Collection, I am happy to exchange it and make a new ring in your accurate size. Buyer is responsible for all shipping.
How do I figure out my ring size?
Because I don’t resize pieces, it's extremely important that you provide me with an accurate number. The only truly precise way to determine your size is to use ring sizers like these. If you don't want to buy a set, try visiting a local jewelry or gift shop to see if they can assist you.
If you are going through a gift shop, they may have several sets of ring sizers with different band widths. If this is the case, please use a standard one that is 2-3mm wide. Anything wider could produce an incorrect ring size and skew my calculations.
Your dominant hand is typically bigger, and your ring size can change throughout the day based on many factors such as temperature, food, and pH levels. Because everyone is different, there is no steadfast rule, but the accepted "best time" to measure is after lunch/before dinner.
Do you offer repairs?
There are certain things that I can repair, and certain things that I cannot. The fee for repairs depends on what the process is for mending it.
I CAN personally repair most broken chain links & findings.
If a ring band has been bent out of shape, I can usually reform it for you.
If a band has become damaged on a ring that has a stone set in it, it can usually be fixed, but I will have to outsource it to a repair shop that has a laser welder. You might be able to fix it for cheaper by cutting out shipping costs and bringing it to a local jewelry repair shop yourself.
If you crack the main stone/s in your piece, there is unfortunately nothing I can do. Semi-precious stones have varying degrees of hardness, and it’s important that you treat these works of art with care and consideration. Smashing or dropping pieces will only lead to heartbreak, so please be careful!
If you break the secret stone in your palm, it can be fixed and replaced with a new metal component, but not another stone. If you are concerned about being too “heavy-handed” to wear a gemstone in your palm, you can request any of my made to order pieces be made with a metal component instead!
All repair matters/costs are determined on a case by case basis. If your piece arrives faulty, I will waive any fee and either fix it for you or send you a new one.
Why is my silver becoming shinier?
Because you are a human polishing-cloth and that is the nature of sterling silver!
In a perfect world, all my jewelry would be deep black forever. However, silver loves to get shiny wherever it rubs against the skin, particularly when it comes to rings.
I use a chemical called liver of sulfur to finish my pieces with a heavy black patina. As time goes on, the raised areas that touch your skin will become a brighter silver while the texture marks and recesses will retain the original blackness. As a result, a high-contrast pattern begins to develop and you will see all the striped hammer marks and details more clearly. The speed at which this happens depends on several factors such as on your body’s pH level, and can be increased by contact with sweat, water, lotion or other rings on your hand.
If you want the black finish reapplied, you can send the piece back to me to do so. Rates vary depending on the piece. You will be responsible for shipping both ways.
There are also ways to do it yourself at home. Contact me for more info if you are interested!
Will you do custom work?
I am not currently accepting custom orders.
What is 3D printed polyamide?
It is a futuristic, nylon-based plastic created through a laser sintering process.
It is a futuristic, nylon-based plastic created through a laser sintering process.
- extremely lightweight (great for large earrings!)
- durable & slightly flexible
- waterproof/washable
- matte texture
Polyamide is a far more refined material than the plastics created by most at-home 3D printers. My pieces are printed on a high quality industrial sintering printer.
Do you offer wholesale?
I do!
At the moment I am offering only my work in the DARK MATTER collection for wholesale. If you are interested in carrying my work in your shop, please contact me.
