There are widespread myths from the ancient world that the universe was created by a spider and that its web represents reality's true nature: the interconnectedness of all things. Every continent seems to have a variation of this archetypal story, and something about it really resonates for me.
I wanted to create a piece that depicts the web, starting from a singular point of energy (the uranium glass stone) and merging into the cosmos, cradling the planets and stars, expanding infinitely.
This piece is 100% sterling silver, suspended from this rolo chain with an adjustable length from 16-18 inches and a secret moonstone at the end.
